It even looked good in it's pre-blocked Ramen-like state. :)

I have no laceweight wisdom to share, since I'm only a few rows into my first attempt at knitting with laceweight. I went with pulling from the outside of the cake since it's a silk/seacel blend, and I've heard non-wool yarns don't play nice when you go for a center-pull. I'm only a few rows into the piece, so I have no idea if it's going to work or not!Katienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12793822.post-73389070058667855142011-08-24T12:29:42.528-05:002011-08-24T12:29:42.528-05:00Gorgeous color! I agree with what Chery says. I wind laceweight on the ball winder all the time, but I just pull it from the outside of the cake.Dorothyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03909534210782172959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12793822.post-61364341629184024462011-08-21T08:06:08.902-05:002011-08-21T08:06:08.902-05:00To avoid yarn barf especially with lace weight yar...To avoid yarn barf especially with lace weight yarn, knit from the outside of the wound cake. Works better for me that way. Cute pictures of your men.Cheryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13488184219702441846noreply@blogger.com
