My Halloween Costume

In case you were wondering what I dressed up as on Halloween...


I was a giant squid, hooked by my lovely wife, who was one of those Japanese scientists that took a picture of me recently.

Great Idea! How did you get the top of the squid to stay up?

Household squidmaker here ... it's made of 1/2-inch foam rubber held together with contact cement and it turned out to be stiff enough to stand on its own. Had it been floppy, I think I would have made some kind of cardboard or foamcore armature. Because no one wants a floppy squid head.
