The Coolest Christmas Present

So I knew that Meg had this in the works for awhile now, but I had no idea it would be done before Christmas.

It's Alice Starmore's St. Enda sweater, done out of this beautiful yarn we purchased in Galway. Knit just for me.

Meg will fill you in with the details.

Beautiful! And how nice that you can appreciate it, since you're a knitter, too!

Now you know what why we were trying to get rid of you at Panera. She had to show it to me! :D

It's really amazing!

How are you doing on not just telling every stranger who looks at you, "Isn't this an awesome sweater? My wife KNIT it for me!"?

I love that sweater. My husband got one for Christmas last year - same sweater - tell Meg that she is a beautiful knitter! A most challenging pattern.

Excellent work! I love cables, and they look really good with that yarn!

I loved your lace socks, and that is a good idea to have them almost finished and do the final measurements when you give them to your Mom. I want to do some lace socks for my Mom too, but don't know her exact size, and didn't know how to get it, since we live far apart. This is a good way to do that. Thanks for the idea.

What beautiful cable work! That colorway is fantastic, too! It looks like very cuddly sweater, so you can both enjoy it at the same time =)
