Tying Up Loose Ends

Well, I finished the second argyle over the weekend. Once I finish weaving in the leftover yarn ends into each sock, they will be ready for duplicate stitch. Weaving in ends has been keeping me busy. I still have some ends to do on the hat, as well as a whole bunch on one of the entrelac socks. This, I believe, is the dark side of color knitting.

Ohhh, yes, the Dark Side indeed! I usually try to weave in ends as I go along, to trick myself into thinking there aren't so many to do. Can't wait to see pics of the finished sockies!

Punk Rock Knitter and I saw you finishing that sock on the Western bus last night. We were on our way home from SnB, ironically. Nice argyle!
Small world, indeed. Afterwards, I told my wife, "I think I shared a bus with some of the people that run the You Knit What website. I overheard one of them going off about an ugly pink cardigan, and it sounded very YKWish..."

I was actually on my way to a friend's house, coming from a haircut. I used to live in Roscoe Village and am very familiar with that stretch.

Nice to inadvertently bump into you in real life!
