I get on these kicks...

... where I tend to buy a lot of things in the same color. For a while, it was chocolate brown. Then it was sage green. Then magenta.
So the other night, when we were driving home from WHPK, and I was sitting with my knitting bag on the seat next to me, I happened to notice that the Fool was petting it lovingly.
Puzzled, I stared, and he glanced over, only to find that he'd mistaken the apple green knitting bag for the apple green skirt I was wearing.
I've got to go shopping.

Is it really fair to call him the Fool when you set him up like that? :-)

I know, that's not why he's called that! I just thought it was funny.

Hey, I capitalized it!

Meg, I hate to be the one to break it to you...

... he actually WAS petting your knitting bag.

Ahh, the honeymoon is officially over.

(At least you didn't catch him trying on your delicates. I have a friend who walked in on her husband while he was wearing her bra and panties.)

Go shopping anyway. It's good foro you.

Aidan,
As long as he's not actually rooting around *in* my knitting bag, I think I can be OK with a little fibery love.

For some reason, that cracks me up.

I have been sitting here trying to come up with a cute play on the old phrase "how do you like them apples" but it's not working so I'm just going to go back to copyediting now.

But I laughed a lot. Thank you.
