No Shame At All

So I'm sitting here at Panera Bread, working remotely. I realize that it's getting really cold in here because it's over air conditioned, and worse yet, that I don't have any warm clothes with me, save the yet unfinished Kai sweater with needles sticking out of it.

Other folks might balk at the idea of wearing an in-progress sweater in public, but not me.

I'm really glad that I got a camera phone for moments like this.

But I'll bet you were comfortable after putting it on! Can't beat good ole shetland wool.

Wait... it's a publicity stunt! Right?

That is great. How many people oogled over the odd man wearing a sweater with needles sticking out of it? Not that you are odd, nor the sweater. Wait, is odd a good thing? Anyway, I love it...haha.

And I like the way you coordinated the shot so your sweater complimented the fabric on the booths in the background.

Eldronius - I can say with dead certainty that the Fool did not notice the color of the booth and how it coordinated with his sweater. Once, he tried to leave the house for work wearing a tan shirt and khaki pants, and looked at me blankly when I leapt in front of him and shouted, "It's Tan Man! Destroyer of color!"

That is the coolest thing I've seen on a blog in a very long time. Hurrah for invention, and for such a fine job on the body of the sweater that it looks wonderful, needles or no.

Thanks for making my day.

Beautiful sweater. I mean, mini-sweater. It's the latest rage in Panera fashion! :)

Wait, did you by any chance go see the Yarn Harlot in about March in Oak Brook?
