Tuesday morning, the Fool....

... does weird stuff before I wake up.
He took the advice about using human hair to deter groundhogs, but rather than have to explain himself at the barbershop, he decided to go trim his beard in the garden this morning, hunched over the hole one of the Weegees dug.
At least it keeps all the hair out of the sink.
As soon as we get some sunlight, a few knitting photos....

Knitting pictures? I wanted to see hair in the garden pictures! Oh and ps...I forgot to mention I was in your neck of the woods the other weekend, visiting my sister. We started off at Wool and Company in Geneva, then to Wheaton's Never Enough Knitting and the other one on the other side of the RR tracks, and then on to the one in Glen Ellyn that isn't there anymore. The next day was Knitche, and it was lovely. Even if I didn't spell that right. That ice cream shop, again, on the other side of the tracks, was amazing!

I have also heard that human urine works as well. I look forward to hearing how you implement that deterrent in the city!

Yarndork - I saw your blog! So cool you saw some of our LYSs. Knitche is pretty much the one I consider my LYS; it's closest - and they have good coffee. And I know what you mean about that yarn store on "the other side of the tracks." She has good stock, and sometimes that's enough, but sometimes it isn't. She seems to have a love-it-or-hate-it kind of place.

I'm glad to know my sister and I weren't the only one who thought that about that particular store. I'm gonna stick with the thought that we just caught her on a bad day. There was some carnival or something in town, so that may have been an annoyance. We sure did love Knitche though. There was a young guy there who was amazingly knowledgeable, and then an older lady helped us as well. We will so be going back there when I bring the kids up for my dad's birthday on July 4th.

Yarndork - if you're coffee lovers, the coffee they sell at Knitche is a locally roasted blend that all the coffee snobs can't get enough of. It's definitely worth trying a cup.
