Do you have a sink? Do you have someone who lives with you?

Try this fun and entertaining game. Wrap a rubber band around the handle of the sink sprayer. Try not to jump guiltily when someone, like, say, your wife, walks into the kitchen.
Instead, without giggling too much, say something like, "Honey, will you help me wash these pans? Can you do that one in the sink?"
Try not to fall down laughing when your wife turns on the sink - and the sprayer you have so cleverly stuck in the open position.

The ironic part is that you were the one who told me about that trick a year or so ago.

My kids use to do that all the time ..... and then they turned 10.

Dang. The critical part would seem to be the sprayer, which I lack.

Good time of the year for water tricks though....

Laurie - there's a less subtle version of this prank. You get a garden hose and a spray nozzle and go outside to "water the flowers," and then when your intended target steps out the door, blast them with the hose. Quite satisfying.

I did this once...I remember it quite clearly. It was April Fools Day, 1972. I was eight. The intended target was my brother, Bob. The unintended and actual victim was my 75 year old grandmother. She ended up chasing me through the house with an open can 'o whoopass meant just for me.

Ah, good times...good times.

...but not nearly as clever.

I actually read that awhile back as a "morning after" trick when everyone drinks a lot at the big, wild party... and it involved using black electrical tape on the already-black sprayer, so it will actually happen a couple of times before the person can figure out what's going on. Ahhh, hangovers. >:-)>
